Pamela Shuhui Robbins, a native of Singapore, is a third-generation practitioner of traditional Oriental Medicine; she is a graduate of the prestigious East-West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida Additionally, she is well versed in Western Medicine having practiced in Cardio-Vascular Medicine at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Pamela is a highly skilled acupuncturist who also incorporates the use of herbs extensively in her practice. She has successfully treated patients with a wide range of health issues, including reproductive, musculoskeletal, psychological, respiratory, digestive and nervous system disorders. Pamela's broad knowledge of herbal safety and herb-pharmaceutical interactions allows her to safely and effectively integrate herbal medicine, nutrition and whole food supplements into her treatment programs.
Pamela earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from East-West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota Florida. EWC is regionally accredited and a leading graduate school for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the United States. The four-year Master program includes extensive training in both Chinese and Western medical theory, diagnosis and practice.
Pamela is a NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) Diplomate of Acupuncture. She is currently licensed to practice acupuncture by the Arizona Board of Acupuncture - she has also been previously licensed in both Florida and Alaska. In addition to her Master’s degree from EWC, Pamela also has a B.S. in Professional Health (EWC); a B.S. in Human Resources from Brigham Young University/ Hawai'i and an A.S. degree in Cardiovascular Invasive Technology from Santa Fe College (Gainesville, Florida).
As a Health Care professional she is dedicated to educating both patients and the general public about the importance and rewards of greater nutritional health and Chinese medical practices. In addition to treating patients, Pamela has presented numerous seminars where she puts forth the idea that health, wellness and longevity are not accidents - but "planned events" - not the destination, but the journey.
